Sanitary Round Pressure Manhole Cover

Design

The round pressure manhole cover consists of stainless steel lid, frame, seal, multiple hinges, and swing bolts.

The round stainless steel pressure manhole cover is used on the top of pressurized sanitary tanks or containers, where a hygienic closable way of access to the interior of the tank is required. The sanitary round pressure manhole cover can be positioned above or below liquid level

The hygienic round pressure manhole cover is supplied with a replaceable seal on the lips to prevent fluids from spraying out, for instance, during CIP cleaning and similar processes or during travel on mobile tanks.

The food grade round pressure manhole cover is available in 304 or 316L stainless steel with EPDM, NBR, Viton, or Silicone seal materials.

 

Method of Operation

Loosening the rotating handles enables visual inspection or physical entry into the sanitary stainless steel tank, the tank cover swings outwards. The dairy round pressure manhole cover is secured in the closed position by multiple swing bolts. Together with the seal in the cover, the swing bolts ensure complete tightness.
